Background

Hey there! My name is Allen Aboytes and I am a Computer Engineering PhD student at the University of California, Santa Cruz. I graduated from UCSC in 2019 with a B.S. in Computer Engineering with a concentration in Networks. My research interests include systems and security. In particular, I am interested in exploring the intersection of security and energy consumption. Other research interests include operating systems and computer networking.
During my undergraduate career I worked closely with Ethan Miller through the STEM Diversity Programs. As a result of my past research experiences I will be working under Dr. Miller in the Storage Systems and Research Center (SSRC)/Center for Storage Systems Research(CRSS). Link to lab.
